We are offering two sessions for our Fall 2026 pottery workshops:

Each session is limited to 7 participants to ensure everyone gets personalized, small group instruction and direct involvement in preparing and executing each firing process.

How much does the workshop cost?
The cost for each weekend session is $500. Check or cash is accepted. After signup, we will reach out with more information and to coordinate payment.
What’s included?
Each weekend session includes:

A 2hr Q&A via zoom or in person 5 to 6 weeks prior to workshop dates

2.5 days of pot prep and firing

Wine, cheese and NA beverages Friday evening

Bagels and doughnuts for breakfast Saturday and Sunday

Cookout Saturday evening (menu TBD)
How do I sign up?
To sign up for a session, please fill out the form below. We’ll reach out with more information about the workshop and payment information.
After signup, your spot on our wait list will be held for seven days while you arrange payment. Once paid in full, your spot in the workshop is confirmed.
What if I need to cancel?
We understand plans can change. If you need to cancel, contact us ASAP. You can read our full cancellation policy here.
Can you help with supplies and bisque firing?
If you do not want to make your own terra sigillata or purchase it commercially, it can be purchased through us for $10.
Bisque firing of pots is available, at a fee of $25 for up to 25 pieces. Pieces must to be delivered to the workshop location no less than 5 days before the session start date for bisque firing.
I’m traveling from out of town. Where can I stay?
Tent camping is available on site for $20 per night with access to facilities and water. There are also plenty of lodging options in Lincolnville, Camden, and Belfast.
Workshop Techniques
Our unique approach to pottery workshops gives you the opportunity to try a variety of different firing techniques in a single weekend. We explore raku techniques fired in a Peter Pugger gas kiln, as well as pit firing and barrel firings in homemade barrel kilns.
Interested in building your own kiln? The weekend includes a discussion on how to build your own raku kiln, so you’ll take away the knowledge of how to achieve some of these techniques in your home studio.
